Structured Cabling
At Wire-It we pride ourselves in providing your business with cost effective cabling solutions for your business.
Why would you invest in a certified installation?
Not all cable manufactures and jack manufactures are the same. There are a lot of inexpensive cable manufacturers out there; however the quality of the cable will impact the throughput of your system as well as its life. There are no bargains when it comes to the basic infrastructure of your business. The extra investment in a certified installation will ensure that you will have the capabilities for future technologies as well as provide a trouble free network today. We work closely with the manufacturers of our solution, and using their specifications on installations provides us with their full support.
Cable Management
Wire-It also does retrofits and will clean up your wiring closet for you. When your network patch panels get so confusing that you have to spend hours figuring out where that station’s connection is when you need to move it, then its time to call us for help. We will clean / organize your wiring closet and label your patch panel and wall jacks so that you can easily do the MACs (moves, adds and changes) for your office when required. Picture A is a wiring closet after a business has grown in an ad hoc way so that there is now a confusion of cables which look like a mess and aren’t properly labeled. Picture B is that same wiring closet after we’ve cleaned it up. Now patch cables are easily identifiable, and it is no trouble to move a station to a new jack.
Cable Security
Do you have network equipment (IP phones, laptops) that go missing occasionally? Would you like to secure the patch cables on your patch panel so that no one can pull them out and disrupt your network? Would you like to secure your wall jacks so that no one may plug an unauthorized patch cable in them? We can lock those patch chords and secure your jacks. Call us for more information.
